Social Analysis:Workshops

Action on behalf of justice
and participation in the transformation of the world fully appear
to us as a constituent dimension of the preaching of the Gospel.
Justice in the World 1. 1971.

To analyze something means to take it apart in order to see how it works, to see what makes it behave the way it does. To analyze a society is to sort out the different elements in its structure, to discover their dynamic inter-relationships and generally to try to find the social causes of human behavior.

Social analysis is a matter of being sufficiently critically - minded to ask why and to keep on asking why about our social reality. To ask why is to search for causes and to keep on asking why is to search for root causes.
